About the Author
George Graham grew up in the urban surroundings of
decommissioned WWII bases in Eastern MA. Since a
small child, he has enjoyed casual trips behind the
scenes to inspect the last days of various sites. Now,
"the importance of preserving the final days of the
military industrial revolution is an important task. Once
the sites are gone, they're gone...forever!"
Mission
The objective is to chronicle the industrial sites and
former military areas for the future to use as a
reference and to maintain a credible record of these
area for generations to come.

VUME - About the museum
About this Museum
2002-2006
Pre 2002
Mid 1998 on, most snaps
were on 35mm film. We
used a Canon Rebel and a
Minolta XG-1. Pre 1995 were
from a Maxxum 7000.
2007 and Beyond
In 2007 we moved back into
the SLR world with a 10MP
Sony Alpha-1. We still can't
give up the Cybershot just yet.
Vintage
Vintage snaps are owned or
loaned to VUME for
historical use and
enjoyment.
Special thanks to all the property caretakers and
owners who have granted me access to otherwise
remote and inaccessible areas. We keep our feet on
the legal site of the fence, "a good peek is worth a
thousand words." A long lens helps too!

2009 and Beyond
Big guns in hand, moved up to
a Nikon D200. Still it's about
20% gear and 80% what you
do with it. Complimented with
Canon 1100IS.
